If you make entries into the GDS and BB does not respond normally or if the BB icon is yellow - try the following:

    1. Verify that BB is on. Is there a BookingBuilder icon in your taskbar? If not, start BookingBuilder by clicking Start>All Programs>BookingBuilder Desktop.

    2. Verify that you have a GDS open. BookingBuilder Genie can operate without a GDS and when the BB icon is Yellow but BB Desktop requires a GDS.

    3. Hover your cursor over the BB icon and it should indicate which GDS it is connected with.

    4. Verify that your computer is connected to the internet.

    5. Right Click your BB icon and select ‘Restart this Application’

    6. If after a minute or two, the BB icon does not turn green, try rebooting your computer.

If BookingBuilder Desktop is not responding properly to an airline confirmation page displayed in Internet Explorer please share the confirmation page with us.  To do this: 

    1. Right click on the BB icon.

    2. Click on "Report Unrecognized Web Page” or “Send Web Page to Support."

    3. Select the page that is not being recognized. It may not be the first one in the list.

    4. Click on “report page. Put a detailed explanation in the box.


Another option for sending us a confirmation page is:

    1. Right click on the BB icon.

    2. Click on “Open Saved Confirmation.”

    3. Select the appropriate confirmation and click “OK.”

    4. Click on “Page Does Not Match” or “Send Confirmation to Support.”

    5. Enter a detailed explanation in the box and send it in (if you want it to go to a specific BB employee please put their name in your comments).
